Imran Khan's Accountability Movement
It is
wonderfully said by Jim Morrison ; “Whoever
controls the media, controls the mind”. Recently I came across one of
private news channel, talk show, where experts & IK ex-wife, were
criticizing Imran khan’s way of politics. The entire program was run to malign
Imran Khan.
To say the
least, the bottom line criticism they raised are:
1- Imran Khan hasn’t got any
planning.
2-
He is using rallies as a tool for achieving suspicious objectives.
3-
“No End Game” from him that is out-put or end result.
Well,
I carefully watched the full-length show, it was on the recent move of imran
khan toward accountability. Here, I’d briefly like to answer their objections
and criticism over imran khan politics.
A:
Without planning how Pakistan Tehreek E Insaf evolved from 1996 till date. The
standing of PTI in 90’s, and 2000’s are two different stories, that’s how Khan
innovate PTI with time. Now it’s mainstream political party and has great
influence over Pakistan Politics.
B: Major rallies by Imran khan
are:
2011 rally – Anti-Government Movement.
2014 rally– Movement against Election
Rigging.
2016 rally– Movement For Accountability.
Sorry
to interrupt Mr... following are the suspicious objectives and end out-put
of Imran Khan rallies:
ð :
2011 rally end game: PTI polled 7.7 million votes in the general election to
win 28 National Assembly seats. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)
announced that overall voter turnout in the 2013 general elections was recorded
at 55.02% — a much higher percentage than elections since the 80s.
ð :
2014 rally end game & suspicious objectives : Nation-wide awarenes,
mobilized overseas Pakistani’s, encouraged women to participate in politics,
educate mass from adolaescents to mature , on top of that new election laws
would be contrary that we’ve observed in 2013.
ð :
2016 accountability movement: accountability is like a filtration, without this
process we’d always have bunch of corrupt politician plundering with both
hands. This is one of the great movement above all.
I’d like Imran Khan to demand
an independent institute of accountability that we have, like Pak Army,
judiciary & media-upto some extent. Difference of opinion aside; I’d like
all political workers from different parties to shed light on the institution
of accountability and what must be their present role in the country. At least
we must have this kind of awareness, to know the importance of accountability
movement & know what exactly is FIA & NAB for?
At the end,
role of media should be balance and positive, these media persons cries for
accountability and even demand for it, now why don't they support such
movement? who they expect to change the present culture of FIA & NAB ?.
Being a suppressed nation by oppressors, humiliated by the opportunist, we must
stand with Imran Khan stance, no matter what. He's
actually building and strengthening the basic pillar of the
state.
